Travel time
from the airport
Approximate travel time from Paphos airport is 20 minutes and 1.5 hours
from Larnaca airport. Taxi transfers to and from the airport can be
arranged and/or car hire for your convenience.

Beaches
Enjoy the endless rugged coastlines of sandy coves and many beautiful

Shopping
Spend some time in the sophisticated shopping centre, leather is very
good value. In high season shops are open until 13:00 then again at
16:00 until 19:00, half day Wednesday and Saturday and closed on Sunday.
Banks open 8:30 - 12:30 Monday to Friday however times can vary and in
the tourist areas shops will open all day.
The Market
The colorful market with small hand painted pottery and beautiful
Lefkara Lace is the ideal gift to take home. It is situated in the old
Paphos town centre and is open every morning with exception of Sunday.
Kato Paphos
Harbour
This is the focal point for the tourist area a charming picturesque
fishing harbour by Paphos fort which is lined with open-air cafes and
taverns.
Tomb of the Kings
These impressive underground tombs date back to the 4th century B.C.
High officials rather than Kings were buried here but the magnificence
of the tombs gave the locality its name.
Rock
of Aphrodite
The Greek name Petra tou Romiou is the large rock that juts from the sea
and according to legend Paphos is the birth place of Aphrodite, the
goddess of love and beauty. It is said she rose from the waves of the
sea at Pera tou Romiou in this striking beautiful spot.
Baths of
Aphrodite
Near Polis are the Baths of Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty and
this is were legend says the goddess Aphrodite would take her beauty
baths before and after entertaining her many admirers.
House of
Dionysos
House of Dionysos, Theseus and Aion, the beautifully preserved mosaic
floors of these villas date from 3rd to 5th A.D. are considered to be
the finest found in the Mediterranean.

Troodos Mountains
There is plenty to see in Troodos mountains with its breath taking
views, idyllic pine forests, Byzantine Monasteries and Churches as well
as picturesque mountain villages with its warm friendly and hospitable
people.
Golf Courses
With the all year round healthy climate you can take advantage of the
three Golf courses in the south west region of the island Secret Valley,
Tsada and Aphrodite hills.
